General
Information
Some information to help you enjoy a safe and
trouble-free Safari. Below is a full packing list on what to take and not to take to Africa.
This is only a guide and is definitely not necessary to take all of
this.
Climate:
On our main hunting area in the Namibia, the winter months (June-August) are cool in the mornings and
evenings and pleasant during the day. The temperature varies from 50 F
in the mornings to 75 F during the day.
Health:
No compulsory medications are required for
the Omaheke/Khomas region in Namibia, only if you plan to visit
the Caprivi or Okanvango Delta.
Water:
Tap water is purified and safe to drink,
bottled water is also available.
Electricity:
Power supply is 220/240 volt, converters are
available, but bring your own for special accessories. Also, bring plug
adaptors (bring a variety of
plugs as there are many varieties: square pin, round pin, two prong etc)
Clothing:

Comfortable
walking boots - preferably ones that you've used before your trip.

Warm
underclothes - for going out early in African winter mornings

Gloves
& beanie hat - also for those early mornings

Long
pants, zip off

Clothes - Advantage, Realtree, Mossy Oak etc.
